LKSA is as much about community as it is about kiting. We run regular social meetups — and drinks are open to all: existing members, people who already kitesurf, people who want to know how to get into the sport, and every level of interest in between. There is no need to be a BKSA or LKSA member to come along. Membership is about safety and insurance on the water — drinks are just about good company.

Regular socials
- Monthly drinks on the 1st Wednesday of each month at Shaws Booksellers in Blackfriars, from 6pm — except when preempted by other activities. Open to all, no membership required.
- Quarterly parties on Fridays — recent highlights include a spring event in Waterloo and the Christmas party in Shoreditch.
- Occasional informal beach day meetups coordinated via the community WhatsApp and Telegram groups.
