Hayling Island — West Beach (CBK)
Hayling Island has two launch points: this one run by CBK (you need a day pass or membership from CBK) near the Inn on the Beach, and the other a Public Beach launch from the Chichester Beach car park, generally 500–800 m downwind of here. CBK is the longest-running kitesurf school in the UK (since 1999), with a structured environment and rescue cover. Outstanding flat-water Solent spot: broad E-through-W range, best at low to mid water (avoid ~1 hour either side of HW). The sandbar off this CBK launch beach forms a flat lagoon >1 km out around 4 hours either side of low tide, with more open-sea texture beyond. (Forecast and tides are shared with the rest of Hayling Island.)
Next 7 days at Hayling Island — West Beach (CBK)Lighter option: Mon 15 Jun ~14 kt — possible on larger kites (14 m+). AROME and UKV 2km agree (within ~2 kt) over the next 60 h — confidence good (lead model here: UKV 2km).
